Upcoming Events
Thank you all for your support in 2006. You enabled us to take care of many of our start up expenses. Through your continued support in 2007, we have successfully covered all of our expenses for the year including the costs to cover our 501(c)3 application. Great news! We received our approval letter from the IRS for our 501(c)3 status. We are officially a ta exempt charitable organization retroactive to our date of incorporation of July 31, 2006.

Ask your employer if you can set up collection boxes for used inkjet, laserjet and toner cartridges. We will supply you with the boxes and labels. All you would need to do is tape the box up fill in the top portion of the label with information we will provide and call FedEX to pick the box up. Shipping is prepaid. The recycler pays us directly for the cartridges. Please contact us at rglfoundation@comcast.net or call us at 302-887-9161 if this is something you would be willing to do.
1) Thanks so much to those of you who helped sell tickets, who purchased tickets and to those who just gave a contribution toward our foundation. we raised $495.00 through this event. Last year we only raised $165.00 so we did much better this year.
2) We are also seeking corporate sponsors. If you own a business or manage a business and want to invest in a worthy cause, let us be that cause.

3) Provided there are no drought restrictions next year, if anyone or any student organization would like to hold a "Bekah's Car Wash" in the Spring or Fall please contact us at 302-887-9161 and we'll help you make it happen. It doesn't matter what state you are in as we wish to make this event as well known as Alex's Lemonade Stand.

If you have any experience in organizing or running any fundraising events such as walk-a-thons, bike-a-thons or any other sports tournaments or dance marathons and would like to volunteer to help plan or staff such events call us at 302-887-9161.
We look for each year to be a little more busy than the last. Our board will use the time between now and the end of the year to assess our activities to see what worked and what didn't and why. We had to cancel our Bowling Tournament and our concert event had a poor turnout in spite of our media blitz. We will then use that information to move forward into 2008 and plan activities that are sure to raise the funds we would like to see to move the research on PLE forward. Our prayer is that some of you will find it in your hearts to volunteer for some of the activities we have planned. Stay tuned for details.
